Training MUST ALWAYS be supervised by a qualified coach.
The coach must ensure that the following rules are followed:
-Training on the trampoline without suitable non-slip footwear.
-Training without the presence of an adequate number of attentive spotters of suitable size and weight and who understand their role of a spotter.
-No is allowed to train whilst wearing ANY jewellery, watches, chains, rings, bands, unsecured long hair, nails that are too long or anything else which could potentially catch on the bed, distract or harm the trampolinist or a spotter
-No participation without suitable sports clothing.
-No one is to stand or sit on the end decks or frame pads or to go underneath the trampoline whilst it is in use.
-Only jumping in the centre of the bed.
-Any new skills need to be checked the readiness of the pupil, i.e. ability and confidence, if they feel they will need any support from their coach.
The trampolinist should:
-Inform your coach of any health issues or injuries you are suffering or have suffered from.
-Never attempt to unfold/fold the trampoline unless supervised by a coach and are aware of the procedure.
-Never go under or swing under the trampoline.
-Never train without non-slip footwear.
-Never use the trampoline unless the coach is present and aware and has given specific permission to carry out specific skills.
-Never attempt difficult skills without progressive training and the specific permission of a coach.
-Always pay attention and be ready to help when spotting others.
-Always pay attention to the instructions of the coach.
